Interview @ UKM

Asalamualaikum and hello peeps!

Few weeks ago, i went to UKM for an interview. Me myself was shocked when I got the tawaran. Like omg r u serious??? UKM kot!

The course that I got is Sarjana Muda Pentadbiran Perniagaan dengan Kepujian. Before the iv, i read a lot of the ukm seniors' experiences of the iv. Tbh, the iv that i got tak sama langsung dengan dorang LOL. On the day of iv, I beria baca the history of UKM, their misi and visi etc but takdek pun yang ditanya lmao.

So, my iv have 2 session (dijalankan serentak). The first one is the typical 'introduce yourself' and the second one is group discussion. A group consist of 7 members. First datang, bagi surat dorang mintak tu kat penyelia. And then dorang bagi nametag. Then masuk dalam this one hall, i think it was a lecture hall. Dalam hall tu ada slide, dorang tunjuk step step iv akan dijalankan. And dorang papar tajuk-tajuk untuk group discussion. Ada 13 tajuk semuanya, and I remember one of them is about PRU14. I remembered everyone frantically search about it on their phone LOL.

Sukarelawan (i bet they are the seniors) explained what we should do and how the iv works. They said that the typical introduce yourself need to be done in English and the group discussion is in Bahasa.

Mostly people in my group are from Matriks and I think only one dari STPM. We stay for a while in the hall, tak borak mana dengan fellow group members because everyone busy cari information in their phones pasal group discussion punya topic. We all just tanya nama and asal mana, lmao, typical.

After that, we move upstairs, dia ada sediakan kerusi di luar bilik interview, macam dekat lorong something like that, idk. Lama jugak tunggu kat atas tu. Then boom bbomm, our time finally come. Seriously said, I cuak gila time tu. Paling cuak pasal group discussion lah sebab banyak about current politics.

In the room, dia ada sediakan tujuh kerusi, dia susun separuh bulatan, depan kerusi is our interviewer. There are 3 of them, they introduced themselves as the lecturer here. They asked us to sit and we did. Then they explained what we should do, the first session in English and the second in Bahasa.

The first session went well, our interviewer asked 'cepu emas' questions too. I got 2 ccepu emas questions asfghjkl. The first one is "What makes you difference from the others?" And I was like, shit, the exact same question I practiced back in Matrik. And yall know what my answer? I freakin' answered "Urm..I wear braces???"

LMAO. I am so dumb.

But at least the interviewers laughed. The second question is "Why you choose UKM?" And tbh I fucked up too with this question.

I remembered I was so nervous about the second session because first I dont really know about the current issues, second because my Bahasa in not that g00d, and I'm afraid I will use English instead of Bahasa.

Thankfully the topic is quite easy, can't remember the topic but i think its about social medias. We talked(discussed) about the pros and cons, some example, conclusion and we are done.

Actually, our interviewers are reaaalllyyyy nice. After we finished our discussion they asked if we have any questions about UKM and some of us actually have. Our questions are too many that one lecturer said "Ok ni soalan terakhir ye" lmao

And...we are done! I don't care if I didn't get into UKM, dapat iv ni pun I grateful sangat. It was an experienced for me. Lagipun I put UKM as my third choice, and tbh I menyesal sangat. Why I didn't put it as my first choice? asdghjkl. I was too dumb back then in Matrik. Sigh.
